Dan dari tangan tersangka turut diamankan barang bukti berupa dua buah handphone (HP), satu lembar kopelan pasangan togel dan uang tunai sebesar Rp. 410.000,- (Empat Ratus Sepuluh Ribu Rupiah).
Penangkapan tersangka menurut Kasat Reskrim berdasarkan informasi dari masyarakat yang merasa resah dengan maraknya judi togel. Berbekal informasi tersebut, Tekab 308 Presisi Polres Lamsel langsung bergerak cepat.
“Saat ditangkap, tersangka sedang melakukan transaksi judi togel. Dari pengakuannya sudah enam bulan melakukan jual-beli togel secara online,” ujar Kasat Reskrim.
Untuk mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya, tersangka dijerat pasal 303 KUHPidana tentang perjudian. (AP)
