Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo meresmikan pembangunan asrama Brimob Polda Kalimantan Barat (Kalbar). Peresmian turut dihadiri oleh Kapolda Kalbar, Pangdam XII/Tanjungpura, Sekda Kalbar serta tamu undangan lainnya.
Kapolri menyampaikan terima kasih kepada semua pihak termasuk pemerintah daerah atas dukungannya terhadap pembangunan asrama Brimob ini.
“Dimana asrama ini kebetulan memang dekat dengan sungai dan hampir puluhan tahun belum pernah dilaksanakan renovasi namun atas inisiatif dan kepedulian teman-teman semua yang tergerak untuk melakukan perbaikan dan pembangunan. Alhamdulillah, direncanakan akan diselesaikan 266 unit rumah dinas tentunya beserta isinya yang dilakukan secara bertahap,” kata Kapolri, Minggu, (19/03/2023).
Untuk tahap awal, renovasi dan pembangunan asrama telah terbangun pada blok B yang progresnya telah mencapai 87 persen.
Kapolri menyampaikan bahwa, pembangunan ini merupakan wujud kepedulian dan perhatian masyarakat kepada Polri, khususnya pada Satuan Brimob Polda Kalimantan Barat.
Oleh karenanya, Kapolri meminta agar personel membalasnya dengan terus bekerja memberikan pelayanan maksimal kepada masyarakat dan memberikan yang terbaik saat menjalankan tugas pokok dalam rangka menjaga kamtibmas dan memberantas tindak kejahatan.
“Dan mendukung kebijakan pemerintah ke depan terkait perkembangan kawasan ekonomi khusus dan industri khusus, mendukung IKN,” ucap Sigit.
“Dan saya perintahkan anggota untuk bekerja dengan baik tanpa kenal lelah dan buktikan bahwa kita semua bisa menjadi pelayan publik. Ini harus dilakukan karena masyarakat sampai saat ini masih sangat sayang kepada kita semua,” tambah Sigit sekaligus mengakhiri. (hms)
