Kejaksaan Lampung telah menyatakan lengkap berkas perkara dugaan Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (TPPO), yang ditangani oleh Ditreskrimum Polda Lampung setelah melewati rangkaian penyelidikan dan penyidikan.

TPPO tersebut melibatkan 24 orang Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) asal NTB yang akan dikirim ke Arab Saudi, berhasil di gagalkan oleh Ditreskrimum Polda Lampung yang terjadi pada tanggal 5 Juni 2023.

Kabid Humas Polda Lampung Kombes Umi menjelaskan bahwa Ditreskrimum akan melimpahkan tersangka dan barang bukti ke kejaksaan setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan oleh tim Biddokkes Polda Lampung. Senin (14/08/23).

“Hari ini akan langsung kami limpahkan berkas perkara, 4 (empat) tersangka dan barang bukti ke Kejaksaan. Namun sebelumnya para tersangka akan diperiksa dulu kesehatannya oleh Biddokkes Polda Lampung”, ucap Umi.

“Adapun identitas 4 (empat) tersangka yang dilimpahkan yakni a.n DW(27), IT(25), LP(51), AN(27), hari ini diserahkan ke Kejaksaan” ungkapnya

Atas perbuatanya tersangka tersebut, para tersangka akan dikenakan pasal 2 ayat (1) Undang-undang Republik Indonesia No 21 Tahun 2007 tentang pencegahan dan pemberantasan tindak pidana perdagangan orang Jo pasal 55 Ayat (1) ke – 1 KUHP atau Pasal 81 Jo Pasal 69 Undang-undang Republik Indonesia nomor 18 tahun 2017 tentang pekerja migran indonesia Jo pasal 55 Ayat 1 ke 1 KUHP Jo pasal 53 Ayat 1 KUHP atau Pasal 83 Jo pasal 68 Undang-undang Republik Indonesia nomor 18 tahun 2017 tentang pekerja migran Indonesia Jo pasal 55 ayat 1 ke 1 KUHP pasal 53 ayat 1 KUHP.

Dengan Ancaman hukuman Pidana penjara minimal 3 tahun maksimal 15 tahun. (*)
