Dalam rangka memeriahkan hari ulang tahun (HUT) ke-67 yang jatuh pada 14 November mendatang, Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Lampung Selatan bakal mengadakan event tahunan bertajuk Lampung Selatan Expo 2023.
Hal itu terungkap dalam Rapat Koordinasi (Rakor) dalam rangka persiapan pelaksanaan Lampung Selatan Expo 2023 yang dipimpin Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kabupaten Lampung Selatan Thamrin, yang berlangsung di rumah dinas bupati setempat, Rabu (11/10/2023).
Hadir juga dalam rakor tersebut, para Staf Ahli Bupati dan para Asisten, Kepala Perangkat Daerah di lingkup Pemkab Lampung Selata serta Event Organizer kegiatan tersebut.
Sekda Kabupaten Lampung Selatan Thamrin mengatakan, event Lampung Selatan Expo menjadi agenda rutin Pemkab Lampung Selatan dalam memeriahkan hari jadi kabupaten ke-67.
“Rencananya Lampung Selatan Expo akan digelar selama 10 hari. Berlangsung mulai dari tanggal 14 hingga 23 November 2023. Tempatnya di Lapangan Lampung Selatan Expo, Kelurahan Way Lubuk, Kecamatan Kalianda,” ungkap Thamrin.
Oleh karena itu, Thamrin meminta seluruh Perangkat Daerah agar mendukung acara tersebut. Termasuk, perusahaan-perusahaan yang beroperasi di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, diminta turut ambil bagian untuk menyemarakan HUT ke-67 Kabupaten Lampung Selatan.
“Ini event yang luar biasa. Jadi melibatkan seluruh OPD, kecamatan, desa dan perusahaan yang ada di Lampung Selatan. Maka harus dipersiapkan dengan matang,” imbuh Thamrin.
Sementara, Edy Syafril perwakilan Event Organizer pada penyelanggaran Lampung Selatan Expo tahun ini, melaporkan bahwa tema yang usung yakni “Mewujudkan Ekonomi Kedaulatan Rakyat Dengan Semangat Gotong Royong”.
“Sedangkan tagline dari tema Lampung Selatan Expo 2023 kali ini sesuai tujuan kita bersama adalah Ekonomi Maju, Masyarakat Sejahtera,” ujar Edy Syafril.
Lebih lanjut Edy Syafril memaparkan, selain memperingati hari jadi kabupaten, Lampung Selatan Expo bertujuan guna membangun konektivitas, transaksi informasi, promosi dan investasi di lingkungan Pemkab Lampung Selatan dan Provinsi Lampung pada umumnya.
“Acara ini tentunya dapat membangkitkan kebanggaan dan memperkuat persatuan masyarakat Kabupaten Lampung Selatan,” kata Edy Syafril. (*)
