Kepala desa Karang Pucung melaksanakan kegiatan revitalisasi dan pemerataan tanah lapangan desa Karang Pucung Kecamatan Way Sulan kabupaten Lampung Selatan menjadi pusat ekonomi dan sarana olah raga. Kamis 26/1/2023.
Kegiatan ini dilakukan karena kondisi lapangan yang miring dan kurang enak dipandang mata, kalau ada kegiatan sekolah, karang taruna, pertandingan sepak bola atau kegiatan masyarakat lainnya, karena lapangan nya tidak rata atau miring jadi kami ratakan. Kata kepala desa Karang Pucung Yuliana Fathul Munir.
Kegiatan revitalisasi dan pemerataan tanah lapangan sepak bola desa Karang Pucung ini menggunakan anggaran dari hasil sewa pasar malam beberapa bulan yang lalu sebesar Rp.10.000.000,00 (sepuluh juta rupiah) dan sisanya itu menggunakan dana PAD, supaya enak dilihat bisa dirasakan, dan yang merasakan semua masyarakat desa Karang Pucung. Karena lapangan ini merupakan lapangan sentral yang ada di desa Karang Pucung, semua kegiatan adanya di lapangan pusat ini, bahkan Kecamatan Way Sulan kalau ada kegiatan diadakan di lapangan desa Karang Pucung. Tambahnya.
Munir berharap kepada seluruh masyarakat dan pihak sekolahan juga yang berolah raga di lapangan desa Karang Pucung bisa menjaga dan merawat lapangan tersebut sehingga terjaga keindahannya karena kami dari pihak pemerintah desa sudah cukup dengan memperbaiki dan merapikan, selanjutnya perawatan itu menjadi tanggung jawab seluruh masyarakat desa Karang Pucung.
