Panglima TNI Laksamana Yudo Margono menyematkan Ketua MPR Bambang Soesatyo, Ketua DPR Puan Maharani, Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo, dan seluruh Kepala Staf TNI, sebagai warga kehormatan Korps Marinir. Selasa (24/01/2023).

“Dalam rangka penyematan sebagai warga kehormatan Korps Marinir yang disematkan kepada Ketua MPR, Ketua DPR, Kapolri, KSAD, KSAL, KSAU yang siang hari ini pelaksanaannya dilaksanakan melalui serbuan amfibi sebagai tugas pokok Marinir di dalam pertempuran mulai dari pendaratan dilanjutkan gerakan serbuan di darat. Saya tekankan ini atas jasa-jasa sumbangsih atas kemajuan TNI khususnya TNI AL dan didalamnya ada Korps Marinir,” kata Yudo di Pulau Damar Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta, Selasa, 24 Januari 2023.

Setelah menerima penyematan tersebut, Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo menegaskan bahwa, menjadi warga kehormatan Korps Marinir menjadi kebanggaan baik diri sendiri maupun institusi Polri. Mengingat, kata Sigit, seorang prajurit Marinir memiliki tugas yang sangat berat dalam menjaga kedaulatan Bangsa Indonesia.

Disisi lain, Sigit kembali menekankan, sebagai Kapolri maupun personel Kepolisian, namun di dalam tubuhnya mengalir darah TNI. Mengingat, Sigit lahir dari keluarga yang berlatarbelakang TNI.

“Saya selalu katakan, saya menjadi polisi dan saat ini saya menjadi Kapolri. Namun di darah saya mengalir darah TNI dan itu akan memperkuat soliditas dan sinergitas TNI-Polri ke depan akan semakin kokoh dan semakin baik,” ujar Sigit di kesempatan yang sama.

Menurut Sigit, dengan adanya pengangkatan warga kehormatan Korps Marinir ini semakin melengkapi baret yang disematkan kepadanya. Diantaranya, warga kehormatan Kostrad, brevet Hiu Kencana, dan disematkan Baret Merah serta Brevet Komando dari Kopassus.

Sigit menekankan, dengan adanya penyematan tersebut hal itu bukan semata-mata hanya seremonial. Melainkan, wujud dan bukti semakin kokohnya sinergitas antara TNI-Polri dalam menjaga keamanan, ketertiban serta mempertahankan persatuan dan kesatuan Bangsa Indonesia.

“Ini tentunya semakin menunjukan sinergitas dan soliditas TNI-Polri semakin hari semakin kokoh dan mantap,” ucap Sigit.

Sinergitas dan soliditas TNI-Polri, dikatakan Sigit, merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam menjaga dan mempertahankan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesi (NKRI). Menurutnya hal itu akan berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (kamtibmas).

“Ini menjadi penting untuk menjaga NKRI, stabilitas kamtibmas akan semakin mantap manakala soliditas TNI-Polri semakin kokoh. Kedaulatan negara akan semakin mantap manakala soliditas dan sinergitas TNI-Polri semakin kokoh. Stabilitas kamtibmas dan politik diperlukan untuk menjaga NKRI semakin kuat dan baik,” tutup Sigit.
