Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Lampung Selatan menerima dana bantuan bedah rumah senilai Rp100 juta dari PT Bandar Bakau Jaya (BBJ).
Bantuan diserahkan langsung ole Manager PT BBJ Tatang Rohadi, ST, Msi kepada Bupati Lampung Selatan H. Nanang Ermanto di Rumah Dinas Bupati setempat, pada Sabtu sore (11/11/2023).
Pada kesempatan itu, Nanang menyampaikan terima kasih kepada pihak PT BBJ yang telah menunjukkan kepeduliannya terhadap masyarakat. Dirinya menyatakan hal tersebut merupakan bentuk sinergitas yang baik dalam menanggulangi permasalahan kemiskinan ekstrem di daerah.
Nanang juga menyampaikan, untuk menanggulangi permasalahan rumah tak layak huni, Pemkab Lampung Selatan telah menjalankan program dan inovasi yaitu Geserbu Swasembada Rumahku.
Program ini mendorong semua pihak untuk ikut berkontribusi membantu masyarakat yang tidak mampu.
“Sejauh ini, Program Kedua tersebut telah berhasil membantu perbaikan rumah masyarakat tidak layak huni. Pemerintah Daerah akan terus berkomitmen meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat melalui program bedah rumah tidak layak huni menjadi layak huni,” kata Nanang.
Nanang mengungkapkan, terdapat sekitar 9.300 ribu Rumah Tidak Layak Huni (RTLH) di Lampung Selatan yang membutuhkan perhatian dan bantuan.
Sebelumnya pada Tahun 2017 ada sekitar 13.221 Unit RTLH di Lampung Selatan. Namun sampai dengan Tahun 2023 ini, jumlah RTLH tersebut telah menurun secara signifikan, yaitu menjadi kurang lebih 9300 jumlah RTLH.
“Semakin banyak pihak-pihak lain yang membantu mengentaskan persoalan rumah tidak layak huni, saya optimis, berlahan namun pasti angka 9.300 ribu rumah tidak layak huni di Lampung Selatan, satu persatu akan dapat kita selesaikan melalui program bedah rumah,” tutupnya. (*)
