Setelah 6 bulan dalam pelarian, DPO inisial I (31) warga Desa Trimulyo, Kecamatan Tanjung Bintang, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan (Lamsel), harus berakhir setelah di buru Tekab 308 presisi Polres Lampung Selatan.
Pasalnya, pria yang telah ditetapkan menjadi tersangka ini, terlibat aksi pencurian kabel milik PT. Indokom Samudra Persada sebanyak 319 gulung yang ada dalam gudang di Jalan Ir. Sutami KM13 Desa Sukanegara.
Kapolsek Tanjungbintang Kompol Martono mewakili Kapolres AKBP Edwin mengatakan, tersangka melakukan aksinya, Rabu (19/10/2022) sekira pukul 07.30 Wib.
Tersangka bersama rekannya yang masih DPO mengambil gulungan kabel dengan panjang bervariasi antara 4-45 meter dengan cara masuk kedalam gudang melalui jendela yang ditutup dengan seng. Kabel selanjutnya dibawa keluar gudang dengan melewati pagar panel beton.
“Atas kejadian tersebut pihak Perusahaan mengalami kerugian sekira Rp 60 juta dan melaporkannya ke Polsek Tanjung Bintang,” ujar Kapolsek, Senin (20/3/2023).
Mendapat laporan dari korban, Polisi terus melakukan penyelidikan dan akhinya bisa mengungkap kasus tersebut.
Tersangka berhasil diamankan, Senin (20/3/2023) sekira pukul 03.30 WIB oleh Unit Reskrim Polsek Tanjung Bintang dan Tekab 303 Presisi Polres Lamsel dipimpin Ipda Heru Sandi Susilo.
“Tersangka kita tangkap di wilayah Perkebuanan Tebu PT. GMP Way Terusan, Kecamatan Bandar Mataram Lampung Tengah,” imbuh Kompol Martono.
Saat dilakukan interogasi, tersangka mengaku perbuatannya dilakukan bersama seorang rekannya yang masih DPO. Tak mau buruannya lepas. Polisi menggerebek rumahnya, namun keburu kabur dengan membuang senjata api rakitan warna silver berisi dua amunisi.
“Tersangka berikut barang bukti yang digunakan saat melakukan tindak pidana kejahatan, telah kita amankan. Untuk mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya, tersangka dijerat pasal 363 KUHPidana, ” pungkasnya. (*)
