Presiden Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) memimpin rapat terbatas (ratas) bersama TNI, Polri, BIN dan jajaran terkait serta Forkopimda, di Papua, Senin (20/3/2023).
Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo yang ikut dalam rapat terbatas tersebut mengungkapkan bahwa, dalam kesempatan itu Presiden Jokowi awalnya mendengarkan secara langsung terkait dengan progres seluruh program kebijakan yang berlangsung di Papua.
“Hari ini kita berada di Papua, baru saja kita melaksanakan rapat terbatas antara Panglima, Kapolri, Kapolda, Pangdam dan kesatuan wilayah serta Kabin, KSP, dipimpin Pak Presiden untuk mendengar langsung terkait dengan langkah-langkah yang telah dilakukan wilayah,” kata Sigit.
Menurut Sigit, dalam kesempatan tersebut, Presiden Jokowi juga memberikan beberapa pengarahan serta instruksi kepada seluruh jajarannya. Diantaranya adalah, dilakukannya kesatuan atau integrasi antara program di Pemerintah Pusat dengan daerah.
“Intinya beliau perintahkan kepada kita untuk bekerja secara lebih terintegrasi, antara program-program pusat dengan program-program daerah,” ujar Sigit.
Menurut Sigit, keselarasan program tersebut ditekankan soal bagaimana mewujudkan serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan di wilayah Papua. Dalam hal ini, Sigit menegaskan bahwa, TNI-Polri siap untuk mengawal seluruh kebijakan dari Pemerintah untuk memajukan tanah Papua.
“Sehingga, TNI-Polri betul-betul bisa mengawal seluruh kebijakan dalam rangka meningkatkan kesejahteraan wilayah Papua. Baik dari sisi pembangunan, maupun dari sisi pemekaran. Semuanya bisa berjalan dengan baik,” ujar Sigit.
Dikesempatan yang sama, Panglima TNI Laksamana Yudo Margono menyebut bahwa, kehadiran personelnya di Papua dalam rangka membackup jajaran kepolisian.
“Menambahkan bahwa pasukan TNI yang berada di Papua, ini dalam rangka melaksanakan operasi penegakan hukum membantu Polri. Sehingga, TNI tidak ada penambahan dan tetap seperti yang sekarang tergelar baik yang organik maupun yang didatangkan dari luar Papua. Ini semuanya, tentunya selain pengamanan perbatasan darat, perbatasan laut juga melaksanakan operasi membackup Polri dalam rangka penegakan hukum,” papar Yudo.(*)
